The BAIC ecosystem brings together the main agents driving AI in the Basque Country. From companies, technology centres to public institutions, they all work together to accelerate digital transformation and position the Basque Country as a benchmark in the development and implementation of AI.

Developer partner entities

These are the initial group of agents that drove the creation of BAIC. These entities include a variety of key players such as public entities, training centres, scientific-technological agents, AI solution providers and AI user companies.

Partner entities – GidarIAk

These are the main benchmark AI agents in the territory. They have a significant level of maturity and AI traction capacity. Their knowledge and experience inspire other agents in the ecosystem and guide the Basque Country’s AI strategy.

Friend entities - BAIC-ers

These are agents that are in the early stages of AI adoption or are just beginning to explore its possibilities. Their main objective is to increase their AI traction capacity, improve their level of maturity and deepen their knowledge and application of the technology, and BAIC provides them with the necessary support to accelerate this process.
